I was about to do some soldering of a small brass devise and found the gass torch was out of gass.
thought for a minute and suddenly thought that if a paint stripper electric gun would burn wood then perhaps it would melt solder.

so with the hot air from the gun heating up the brass device  with perfect cleanliness the flux started to melt and with a deft touch where the soldering was to go it flowed neatly into the joint with perfection and no dirt or contamination.

you can try  the impossible now  but miracles take a little longer
